I am not a drinker or seafood lover but I love the vibe, the history & the architecture
My happy place is sitting in Lafayette Square with beignets & hot cocoa from Cafe DuMonde and listen to the musicians play.
The history spans from the historic to the dark side – Home of the Voodoo Queen Marie Laveau
Just walking the Quarter is filled with history and great shops.
When I travel to the Quarter, I bring a half empty suitcase (or extra bag) to fill with my goodies!
Can wait to visit again – have been a dozen times and even brought the kids many years ago – they too loved it!
