We set out on a week long Virgin Voyages cruise

out of San Juan PR with stops at 5 islands First Stop - Tortola BVI We hung around the cruise port as the weather was iffy - great shopping area with bars & restaurants. Tortola is a beautiful mountainous island

Next stop was Barbados – a true working port so either a 15 min walk or taxi ride into the city center. Great Beach excursions available from your cruise line – weather was not on our side that day

Next we stopped St Lucia where we did a catamaran ride to see the world famous Pitons – volcanic spires
Beautiful views, beautiful blue water

Next we moved to Antigua – one of the twin islands and home to 365 beaches – one for every day of the year
We did a sunset cruise and it was beautiful!

Our last stop was St Marteen – where the go to for all is Maho Beach where jet planes are taking off just above you. But before headed there check the flight schedule

Virgin Voyages – the plus is NO kids, no buffet – several restaurants that don’t cost more but make reservations. My favorite was the Wake, they have bread to die for. No drink packages – instead a bar tab is used so you have better control over how much you spend-soda, coffee etc are no cost!

Before and after the cruise we stayed in Condado Puerto Rico –
Condado/Condado Beach is great for shopping, restaurants & bars – blue water & white sand beaches but depending on time of year and weather swimming can be rough. For the best beach in PR Luquillo is where you want to be
